Stave off the grey of winter with something colorful
or curious from our greenhouses
Start an indoor garden under a glass cloche,
or create a desert landscape with cactus and succulents.
Indoor gardening is a great way to introduce kids to growing
things. Try something new this winter, and keep the gray at bay!

Visually Interesting & Easy to Grow |
| From orchids to long-lasting cyclamen and gloxinia,
there's plenty of color to choose from. And for texture, try ferns (we have
many varieties), and easy-to-grow philodendrons in the classic green or the
new bright chartruese variety. |
Winter's a great time to experiement with new soups and
stews. Grow your own rosemary, chives, parsley, and bay leaves in a kitchen
garden. |
For ease of care you can't beat the visually
interesting cactus and succulents. Going away for a month? No problem for
most of these prickly plants that generally have lower water needs than
other indoor plants. |
